Vision and Purpose
Jesus never intended for there to be churches filled with powerless spectators who watch super apostles and prophets, super evangelists, pastors and teachers do the ministry. He intended to have a church of people equipped by these ministries to think and act apostolically, prophetically, evangelistically, pastorally and who know enough about the word to disciple new converts and others. He intends a church equipped to do the ministry.
Today some so-called apostles and other five fold ministers are using the church as a sort of “down line” in a grand pyramid scheme to support themselves and their pet projects, which may or may not be ordained by the Spirit of the Lord. Some churches and pastors are being used as nothing less than money “milk cows” to support an apostolic network. Instead of funds and support flowing generally outward for the “great commission” they are often flowing back upstream to support questionable life styles and expenditures.
True apostles should have a servant’s heart toward the church and the Kingdom of Christ. Christ and his purposes should take high priority over personal agendas and personal ambition. A servant comes under, he does not lord it over.
Apostle’s Heart ministry is dedicated to modeling and teaching the true heart attitude that a five-fold minister should have and apply to the church for which our Savior died. It is dedicated to teaching and dialoging about the nature of the callings and the application of these ministries to the purposes of Christ on earth.
Apostle’s Heart desires to illustrate through teaching, referring, and dialoging with other like-minded ministers what an apostle of the Lord should look like. God’s plan for the maturing of the church to carry forth the agenda of Christ in the five-fold ministry. None other is revealed in the Word. Spurious or counterfeit five-fold ministry is a greater danger and impediment to the Kingdom and the church than the Devil. Much of scripture is devoted to warnings about false or wrong hearted leadership.
