2006 Argentina Trip
Brother Oscar Frias, Pastor of Ministerios Betesda in Sunrise, FL and I traveled together to Buenos Aires to begin relationships with a number of churches in the city. Above I am preaching with Oscar translating for me in the church of pastor “Pepe D’Agostino.
Pepe is an apostolic leader and is pictured with four other pastors and yours truly at another church in the north of the city. Pepe is second from the left. Not all of the churches have embraced G-12, but at present it is sweeping South America.
On the second night we attended a very large church shown above. There was wonderful worship and both Oscar and I took turns delivering a word.
The next day we had an Argentinean barbecue and an outdoor meal in a beautiful park where some forty pastors and their wives had fellowship and ate with us, after which Oscar and I sat around for some two hours sharing with them about Master Builders and the concept of the five-fold ministry and apostolic team ministry and answered many thoughtful and important questions. Above is a picture demonstrating the excellence of the Argentine barbecue. A vegetarian would have been pretty miserable down there, for meat is on all tables. We visited in and ministered in several churches and made contact for the future with a tremendous evangelist and church planter from southern Patagonia. There is every possibility to return in the future and strengthen churches in that area of the vast country.
One of the highlights of the entire trip was a visit to large school, supported by a number of churches and overseen by Pepe D’Agostino. This is an amazing effort of inter-church cooperation and will bear much fruit. Above and below are some pictures of some of the students. They are a happy bunch.
This school has about eight hundred students in all grades and is very alive and healthy.
I would like to return again to Argentina and not only minister in the city, but explore the churches in the south west, Patagonia, where the Holy Spirit is causing a great revival.
